A bicyclist was the victim of a hit-and-run on Tuesday, June 4, the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police said. NLCRPD Officers were called to the scene of the hit-and-run at Woodcrest Avenue and Millport Road in the area of Rohrer's Quarry in Lititz sometime before 10:30 a.m., department officials detailed in the release. Several people were hospitalized after a crash involving an ambulance and car on Long Island. It happened around 12:15 a.m. Saturday, March 25 in Bellmore. Forest rangers carried an injured hiker a mile to safety after the hiker suffered an ankle injury in the Catskill Mountains. Two people were injured after a loaded ambulance was hit by a vehicle in Prince George's County, officials say. The collision happened at St. Barnabas Road and Branch Avenue around 8:16 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17, according to the Prince George's County Fire Department.
